Fuel Your Creativity With Colours And Textures Ft. Asian Paints
#WorldInteriorsDay calls every decor enthusiast to experiment with new and innovative ideas on personalising their homes and personal corners. Two aspects that decor experts concentrate on is the play of colours and textures to make a simple corner into a dream space; which not many realise can be achieved by a few tweaks in the existing interiors of the home.
The Colour Store that believes in where designs meets possibilities and ideas meet execution holds regular workshops, experientials and DIY's where consumers can experiment before deciding on the way forward. On the occasion of ‘World Interiors Day’, the #AsianPaints #ColourStoreBandra celebrated interiors with a unique movies-inspired workshop with an aim of educating interiors enthusiasts on aspects of colour, design, textures, etc to change their living spaces. The workshop was poised as an 'Intelligent and Inspiring Interiors, from the Silver Screen to your Homes' where enthusiasts could visualise the design aspects from films and bring them to their homes. The workshop was conducted by Film Production Designer, Shruti Gupte of Taare Zameen Par, Aisha, The Lunchbox and Khoobsurat fame.
Shruti took the audience through the process of designing as a film production designer talking about associating individual colours with the characters and then weaving a design story around them to highlight their individual traits. Speaking of her movie experiences she emphasised how we as consumers need to make ourselves the heroes and heroines of our own movie scripts. She added how colours and textures are not to be feared but embraced as part of our personality as our personal and professional environments are an extension of our personality and should inspire our days, help create memories or convey our aspirations. She continued that just as movies take inspiration from our reality similarly we should let reel-ties become our reality. Agreeing that it is a step-by-step moving out of our comfort zone to experiment that is not always an easy decision, she nudged consumers to allow Asian Paints Colour Store to assist in realising our dreams before we choose to make it to the permanent change.
Amit Syngle, President-Sales, Marketing and Technology, Asian Paints Ltd. concluded with sharing insights on how to choose the right colour and initiating firsthand experience activities to engage consumers at the Colour Store. So whether you are looking for Signature Walls or Statement Furniture, or just visualising your space before committing to the change, head straight to the Asian Paints’ Colour Store, Bandra to be inspired.
