Every time my mom calls me, I remember the Sonam Kapoor- Fawad Khan song ‘Maa Ka Fone Aya’ because my ‘maa’ always calls me all the time, more so at all the wrong times. And yes it doesn’t stop at that, when she calls she wants to know everything from where I am, to what I’m doing, to what I’m eating to who I’m with.

The questions never end and the answers never begin. But everyone around for sure knows what’s happening because an array of expressions run through my face in a few seconds. It’s like super play on my mom’s end and dead pause on my end.

Pause as much I want but hell-be-damned if the phone goes unanswered or not reachable. So what I really need when I’m on the go? A trustworthy companion who will ensure that I’m always reachable, I’m always available and I never disappear halfway through the call; sounds familiar isn’t it?

All in all the Asus Zenfone 5 is a great phone for the price it has been offered at. It does score well on numerous fronts including battery-life, display and performance. Now all I really need to do is go online and download an apt ring-tone.

I love gadgets… because it makes my life easier.

With everything online, a decent gadget that checks all the necessary tick-boxes is a blessing in disguise. As a blogger, I am always on a lookout for my partner in crime and I’ve found one in the Asus Zenfone. It’s my go-to notepad to pen down ideas that keep popping into my head throughout the day. Not only is it a great writing tool but also a great one at expressions. Yes, you thought right. It is a device I use to click and store pictures that I can make use of during social media updates and shares.

The first thing that I do with a new device always is to click pictures of any and everything possible. My little princess becomes the cynosure of my photography craze and I’ve managed some amazing images. With children pictures and videos is such an instinctive thing and can happen at the drop of a hat. You wouldn’t really want to miss out on those moments that you shall cherish lifelong and so a handy good quality camera phone is a blessing in disguise.

The picture quality and the video quality of the Asus Zenfone 5 are spectacular, much ahead than the smartphones available in its league. With multiple modes, it is perfect to take pictures not only in natural setting but also in indoor settings. The colours are vivid and there is a real-time capture that is most apt for a fashion blogger like me as we have less than a few seconds to click models strutting their stuff on the runway or capture those quick fashion bytes by celebrities and designers.

The added benefit is the quality of the front camera. With crazy selfie junkies like me who take a zillion pictures, the Asus Zenfone is perfect for me.

Another thing that I look for in my phone is at times to keep my daughter entertained when we are on the go. I need a phone that streams videos seamlessly whether they are cartoons or songs or some crazy videos. To support this need the battery needs to be great and the network connectivity super. All the boxes for the Asus Zenfone are ticked correctly and that’s perfect for me.

Apart from the normal functions of calls, texts, surfing, emailing, if my phone excels in camera and video I feel I’m set for life.

It’s the season of love and everyone is either with someone special or trying desperately to hook up with someone special. Of yes me too. Whenever I think about who my ideal partner, my ideal Valentine would be… there is a clear picture that I see through my hazy, dream-filled eyes.

I love the idea of love, I love the idea of falling in love, and I love the idea of being in love. Oh gosh, that sounds so mushy! But isn’t love all about being mushy, being silly and being crazy? And what better time than Valentine’s? Anyways let get back to the picture of my ideal…

Handsome
Good looking, with a great body and amazing features. Added a pinch of tall, dark and handsome and I’m set. Throw in a great image, a great built and someone who has a large heart, and I’m in for keeps.
Strong
A visibly sturdy outlook with a great mind coupled with a good and healthy inside. Easily who can protect me from the harmful elements along with one who is resistant to minor and major damages, wow that’s a dream come true.
Sensitive
Oh yes, he needs to be sensitive to my needs. Someone who has an antenna that more or less connects me to the world and to him, funny isn’t it. Someone who gets instantly affected and reacts to my subtle touches without having to express myself way too much; heaven wouldn’t it be?
Committed
The greatest turn on would be a long-life commitment with an amazing attachment. A committed hottie irrespective of what I do… be busy with the internet, or with my friends or with my shopping or my games. Always charged enough to do what I need doing at any time of the day or night.
Multi-Talented
Who wouldn’t want someone who can double up not only as a partner and a friend, as a shopping aid as well as a research manager? Wouldn’t it be fun to be able to connect to one person in more ways than one? Twice as nice right?

Oh, I could keep adding finer points but on the whole, if these five boxes are ticked, I’ll be more than delighted.
