I’m so in love with everything Vintage and if it's Desi it's all the more alluring.

So when I came across Vintage Desi, a web-store that houses the designs of the best Indian designers I was ecstatic. Not only does it have amazing new products but also previously owned, gently worn outfits at a percentage of the original price. If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen my jewelry haul from VintageDesi. (If not.. hint follow me on Instagram here.)

Vintage Desi Website Review

So if you’re looking for a bridal lehenga or an anarkali suit for any season at a reasonable price tag, this e-store has everything you have ever dreamt of.  You don’t have to spend unthinkable amounts for designer outfits or jewelry to spice up your look with a brand like VintageDesi around.

Browsing through the website I was amazed at the collection that ranged from Women’s Wear to Kid’s Wear and Jewelry. Designers from Anamika Khanna to Babita Malkani to Manish Malhotra to Ridhi Mehra to Satya Paul to Vikram Phadnis to Rohit Bal, all are part of this amazing initiative. Another aspect of the web-store that I simply loved was the option of reselling your own gently worn designer clothing.

You may have your bridal outfit or another designer outfit that is simply gorgeous but you don’t think you will wear it again. You can convert that wardrobe space into money. All you need to do is fill out a form on the web-store with the outfit details and a couple of pictures and you have a chance to sell your outfit with Vintage Desi’s gently worn option. I did try the offer and am so glad with the stringent review by the team at Vintage Desi before they accept your product to resell on their website. In short what you buy from them is ensured in quality, precision and beauty.

Not only clothing the online store has some amazingly crafted jewelry by Namrata Kedia and Shillpa Purii. The moment I ventured in the section I just couldn’t contain myself. I got myself some gorgeous pieces from them. Here is what I looted…

Vintage Desi Website Review
Gold Cuff by Namrataa

Vintage Desi Website Review
Coin Earrings by Shillpa

Vintage Desi Website Review
Half Flower Motif Neck Piece by Namrata

Vintage Desi Website Review
Pearl Ring by Shillpa

Aren’t these are gorgeous. I thought so too. So the first opportunity I got to flaunt them I didn’t think twice. I wore them to an anniversary party and the pieces were the talk of town. Not a single person in the room missed to notice them or compliment me for them.

Share the love! All the best!

I love the summers, because it’s the season of fun, frills and outings, it’s a season to experiment. Summer has arrived and so it’s the perfect opportunity to spice your wardrobe. Here is my summer guide to the ten essential fashion items you need this summer.
A Summer Essentials Fashion Guide
Dress & Tops: Oranje Clothing, Shorts & Trousers: Gas Jeans,
Accessories & Sunglasses: Youshine, Handbags: Toniq, Footwear: Footin

Shorts
Shorts are my best friends during summer. They are super-duper comfortable and perfect to flaunt in the heat. Stock up on a neat pair of denim shorts or a denim playsuit and high-waisted colourful shorts. Go for pastels for that super cool and stylish look.

A Floral Summer Dress
I have floral dresses that are lightweight and breezy those catch the air. I like dresses in soft cotton or linen that I can style in different ways. The best summer dresses are those that can easily transcend from day to night with a few changes.

Linen Trousers
One of the most important summer essentials that everyone needs are linen trousers. They are perfect for the office, a day out or a vacation. Do not restrict yourself to white linen, go for beautiful candy colours and you are set for the summer.

Tanks
Tanks are a great way to upgrade your wardrobe in an inexpensive way this summer. Go crazy with the colours and prints in different materials and textures. Pair it with your shorts, linen trousers or jeans and you are set for your day. Do invest in a great white shirt as a basic go-to for layering with your tanks.

High Waisted Trousers or Skirts
Summers call for accentuating your best asset. Pick high waisted lower that you can style with so much variation from t-shirts to tanks and to kurtas. High waists flatter shapes and look great in the summers. Now is the time you can experiment with culottes to up your style ante.

Flip Flops and Flats
Keep your feet happy in flip-flops and flats flaunting your perfectly manicured feet. Flip-flops and flats enable your feet to breathe and keep them cool and happy.

Colourful Accessories
Summers as usual call for an overload of colour. However since your wardrobe is full of colour, it is great to invest in some classic gold pieces that compliment ever colour and hue. Ditch the junky and statement jewellery and opt for tiny and simple pieces to add a breath of fresh air to your look.

Make-Up
Go pink and peach in the summers to soften your look. Keep the eyes muted and play with rouge and lipsticks in bright shades. The one thing you can experiment with is the nail polish. Last but not the least invest in a great sunblock. Do not for any reason forget sunscreen whether you are indoors or venturing out. Keep your skin hydrated, protect from the harmful sun rays and be generous with moisturiser and sunscreen.

Sunglasses
I reach out for my sunglasses all-round the year but I make sure that during the summers I have a pair in my bag, in my car and in my office. You never know when you forget one and need it in the summer heat. Try from a load of styles available and flaunt the ones you like best.

Sling Bags
Easy to carry, available in multiple styles and colours, Slings give me a youthful exuberance. Of all those available in the market, my personal choice is drawstring style with multiple pockets. Go for an over-sized one to ensure all your essentials fit in your sling.

So do you have all your summer essentials? If anything is missing, head straight to get your Summer Fashion, Beauty, Makeup essentials using some amazing coupons and deals easily accessible at CupoNation’s website. I found Yepme coupons for myself… See what they have in store for you??

Do you have something on your summer essential list that I’ve missed out? Let me know in the comments below.

Have a sunny day,

Cool Your Car With Kulcar Version 2, A Solar Powered Car Cooler Product Review

With the temperatures rising in Mumbai, a product has come as a wonderful surprise and a true gift to counter the blistering heat. So what is this product I’m talking about? It’s Kulcar Version 2, a Solar Powered Car Cooler. You may wonder what this product is all about... Is it another air conditioning unit or a device that cools the car when needed causing battery drainage and / or huge expenses? No it isn’t.

Kulcar Version 2 is a car cooler that is powered by the sun via a solar panel fitted on your car window frame to control the temperature inside your car.  Twin turbo fans connected to the solar panel help in controlling the temperature inside the car by replacing the same with fresh air throughout with the help of the car cooler.

In Mumbai, cars parked outside in the sun turn into heat machines. One cannot expect the car to remain cool or even bearable after a few hours in the sun. The temperature within the car rises a great deal and at a point the inside of the car is hotter, more humid and completely unbearable. In such cases all you want is a more manageable environment to travel. That exactly what Kulcar Version 2, Car Cooler does. Sounds really cool isn’t it? It sure is that cool.

We at iCynosure did test this and are amazed at the results. When we received the product we took time to unbox it and understand the different parts of the product. The product has one main component which is the solar panel attached to the turbo fans. Other parts include a plastic strip cover that you can use in case there are chances of rainfall in your city so as to make sure the rain water doesn’t enter your car. One other important part is the solar stopper that must be used when you don’t wish to use the product to obstruct the solar panel. It is used to cover part of the panel ensuring that the solar generator stops for the time.

Once we understood how Kulcar Version 2 works we were quite eager to try it and we installed it on our car immediately. The installation is very simple, you really don’t need to do much except measure up the length of the car window frame and cut the rubber panel accordingly to ensure the product fits well on the window.

We let our car as is for a few hours, parked in our building open park with temperatures fluctuating between 35-38 degrees celsius and humidity almost 55%. When we couldn’t contain our excitement any longer we went straight up to see how the product had made a difference to the environment within the car and whether or not it made sense for us to continue using it in a city like Mumbai.

As we went to check the effects of the car cooler after about three hours we were absolutely amazed with the results. The temperature inside was definitely much cooler as compared to the outside of the car, the leather seats and the metal parts of the car were cooler and not hot to touch and above all there was no bottle-up of heat that hits you when you first open the car after a considerable time in the sun.

With the summers in Mumbai at their terrible best, primarily the travel in the car is not pleasant but with a product like the Kulcar Version 2 Solar Powered Car Cooler it helps maintain a stable and cooler environment within the car which makes the journey worthwhile.

Product Strengths:
§ Solar Powered, so no additional expenses
§ Effective product; does what it claims
§ Easy to install, assemble and use

Product Weaknesses:
§ Solar Panel needs to be facing the sun at all times
§ Works only if sun rays fall on the entire solar panel

Overall I think it is a brilliant product and I’m happy to have had the chance to experience this product. The company Sonray has put its mind and energies behind developing this amazing product that is going to benefit users all around the world. If you have any questions, please leave them in the comments below and I’ll try to get them answered for you.

Happy Cooling,
~ Heena

The Lakme Fashion Week enters its 15th year giving the Indian Fashion industry a much worthy platform to showcase their talent. The recently concluded Summer Resort edition gave fashion enthusiasts a lot to look forward to with some amazing collections from established designers and some outstanding collections from new-upcoming designers.

My Thoughts On The Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort 2015
What I Wore: B:Kind, Gas Jeans, The Closet Label + Payal Singhal, Papa Don't Preach + Pepe London

Lakme Fashion Week’s 15 year journey has left a huge mark on the fashion scene and set a benchmark for all the parties involved. With over 150 registered buyers both national and international there is a great scope for designers to venture out into the world.

Philips India was the styling partner and as one of their pool of fashion bloggers, I was extended an invite to attend the Lakme Fashion Week, in association with Blogadda. Philips believes that every Indian has a unique style and their endeavor is to help them in expressing it with their range of hair styling products.

With huge names like Manish Malhotra, Raghavendra Rathore, Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Anita Dongre, Payal Singhal, Tarun Tahiliani, Krishna Mehta, Masaba Gupta, Anamika Khanna it was sure to be a fashion week to remember. However I’m not going to tell you how awesome these shows were, I’m going to tell you about some really drop dead pieces that I could steal right off the runway from young, enterprising designers.

My Thoughts On The Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort 2015
My Thoughts On The Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort 2015

Of all the collection that stole my heart, the first that warrants a mention is the collection by duo Armaan Aimaan. Their design philosophy is based on illustrative exploration, experimentation and expression. An absolute transfusion of sophisticated and meticulously tailored garments with exquisite embroideries, their pieces are refreshingly beautiful, in gorgeous colours and dreamy silhouettes.

My Thoughts On The Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort 2015
My Thoughts On The Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort 2015

Next up was QuirkBox’s fun collection. I loved the fact that with this collection the duo has gone a little numb on the colours that perfectly complements the woman in me. Retaining the brands strong ethos of forward fashion, great personality and individualism Quirk Box is a label to look out for.

My Thoughts On The Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort 2015
My Thoughts On The Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort 2015

Last but not the least is my all-time favorite designer Wendell Rodricks. I was so looking forward to seeing the collection especially since I had the privilege of a sneak peak at his collection ‘POPOLOGY for Philips 2015’. Inspired by Pop Art the collection was full of patterns and vibrant colors. Perfect for the summers Wendell’s collection is a sure shot hit for me and I don’t think I can get enough of it. Keeping the latest styling trends in mind, the POPOLOGY Collection for #PhilipsLFW 2015 defined the narrative of a nostalgic 60's emotion with a fashion forward look.

This year was fun even at the LFW Apartment with fellow bloggers, loads of goodies and brand initiatives. Bloggers were styled by the super hair-stylist Rohit Solanki giving us unique looks each day at the #BedHeadHairSpace. Their international stylist Savio had a session with the bloggers where he dished out styles to flaunt this summer and how best to utilise BedHead products to create looks that accentuate our face-cuts. And there were goodies tooooooo.

However one thing that really disappointed me was the beauty and make-up by Lakme. There was nothing path-breaking that we have started to expect from the brand at the Fashion Week. The Sculpt look is what we Indians have going with our bone structure anyways; so nothing path-breaking there.

So which designers do you flaunt this summer?

Tell us,

The most sensible people follow the unwritten golden rule to breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dine like a pauper. But me I am the exact opposite.

And no it’s not because I don’t know, it’s because my body is now accustomed to the unfit routine. With my mornings so chaotic, breakfast is the last thing on my mind. In between chores, preparing lunch and getting the household ready for the day I barely have time to breathe, forget about sitting by the table sipping tea and eating breakfast. Sometimes at best I grab a paratha or a sandwich and on the go take bites to sustain my hunger pangs. Oh yes, my body does call out for its share of nutrition and well being.

However now this needs to change.

Days on which I sit and indulge in some quality time with my breakfast I feel refreshed and energetic. I cannot overlook the importance of amazing nutrients like calcium, iron, vitamin B and fibre I get from the delicious spread. I can clearly see the difference in myself.

And I’m going to initiate that change today as I’m heading to the Gupta family for breakfast. What else, they have over a hundred mouthwatering recipes, to pick from for your perfect breakfast on any occasion. You can see them here...

I’m headed to check out what I’d love to try to whip it up too.

Those are some great recipes and I would love to try them. However I’m going to leave the regular Kellogg’s and fruit with milk for later when I’m too bored in the kitchen as they are simple to make. And I’m going to try some out of the way recipes to indulge in my oh-so-interested-in-cooking phase.
I’m so enamored with these recipes and have set the breakfast menu for the next few days:

Every Day Breakfast Recipes Fit For A King
Cornflake Coconut Ladoos; ladoos filled with goodness for you to gobble.

Every Day Breakfast Recipes Fit For A King
Cornflake Popcorn Clusters; bursts of joy, power-packed with health.

Every Day Breakfast Recipes Fit For A King
Apple Cinnamon Cornflakes: Cinnamon breakfast filled with the goodness of apples.

Isn’t that fun, easy and so very tasty? Oh yes. Cannot wait to try these.

And for those who still are lazing around, indulging in breakfast has long term benefits and can help reduce obesity, high blood pressure, heart disease and diabetes. Apart from the health benefits, breakfast is a perfect opportunity to start the day together as a family and connect with each other before jumping into your day-to-day activities.

Do I agree? Yes I do.

What about you?

How I Find Happiness Is In The Small Things

We humans don’t realise that it is so simple to be happy… our happiness quotient is in our very own hands. But we look in the wrong places and miss all the happiness that comes to hug us with open arms. I sometimes feel so elated being happy with the little things that I experience, that I share it everywhere.

So here is what makes me happy, little things that boost my mood. I know the meaning and avenues of happiness differ to people, but maybe just maybe we find that one common thing that makes you and me happy at the same time and makes our inner sunshine shine on us.

  • I love to doodle though I hardly get the time now; but whenever I do I feel very happy.
  • I love my princess and I feel happy whenever I look at her, whenever I hold her, whenever I cuddle her. In short everything about my #PrincessHeer makes me happy.
  • I love it when my husband surprises me with grand gestures. More than the gestures, the thought behind the surprise the efforts and the love makes me happy.
  • I love it when I receive personalised gifts. Just a tiny little thought that makes the regular into the unique makes me happy.
  • I love to express myself through my writings and when I’m appreciated for my writings by people whose work I admire, it makes me happy.
  • I love to express my emotions through my poetry and when I pen down something that I want to read time and again, I feel happy.
  • I love to work with a diverse group of people and when we create magic together, I feel happy.
  • I love my life, everything that has happened to it and most importantly the man who has made all the difference. Every moment I get to spend with him makes me happy.
  • I love cricket and cannot resist when the game is on whichever team is playing. However when Indian wins it makes me happy.
  • I love it when my little one bring out qualities in me that I never thought I possessed. Her little teachings help me be a better person and that makes me happy.
  • I love the nomadic life, moving from place to place; exploring the local life and living the life of my dreams. Every opportunity I get to travel makes me happy.
  • I love the fact that I’m a woman, I love the fact that I like to dress up and I love the fact that my pictures are good. So when a brand approaches me to part of their campaign and pampers me it makes me happy.
  • I love the outdoors, the greens and the breeze in my hair. Whenever my hectic schedule offers an opportunity as such I grab it with both hands to make myself happy.
I'm going to stop now because no. 13 makes me happy too. Yes, #IAmHappy !

What makes you happy?

Get Clicking With The Asus Zenfone, Mobile Review

As a blogger, I am always on a lookout for my partner in crime and I’ve found one in the Asus Zenfone. It’s my go-to notepad to pen down ideas that keep popping into my head throughout the day. Not only is it a great writing tool but also a great one at expressions. Yes, you thought right. It is a device I use to click and store pictures that I can make use of during social media updates and shares.

The first thing that I do with a new device always is to click pictures of any and everything possible. My little princess becomes the cynosure of my photography craze and I’ve managed some amazing images. With children pictures and videos is such an instinctive thing and can happen at the drop of a hat. You wouldn’t really want to miss out on those moments that you shall cherish lifelong and so a handy good quality camera phone is a blessing in disguise.

The picture quality and the video quality of the Asus Zenfone 5 are spectacular, much ahead than the smartphones available in its league. With multiple modes, it is perfect to take pictures not only in natural setting but also in indoor settings. The colours are vivid and there is a real-time capture that is most apt for a fashion blogger like me as we have less than a few seconds to click models strutting their stuff on the runway or capture those quick fashion bytes by celebrities and designers.

The added benefit is the quality of the front camera. With crazy selfie junkies like me who take a zillion pictures, the Asus Zenfone is perfect for me.

Another thing that I look for in my phone is at times to keep my daughter entertained when we are on the go. I need a phone that streams videos seamlessly whether they are cartoons or songs or some crazy videos. To support this need the battery needs to be great and the network connectivity super. All the boxes for the Asus Zenfone are ticked correctly and that’s perfect for me.

Apart from the normal functions of calls, texts, surfing, emailing, if my phone excels in camera and video I feel I’m set for life.

Why spend a bomb on a smartphone when you can achieve better with the Asus Zenfone 5, #MyAsusZenfone a budget phone with the best features that I would ever need.

Most Valued Hotel Amenities for Business Travellers

When I travel for work, I ensure to do three things. One travel light, travel by air and stay close to the airport. Unfortunately many cities that I travel to don’t offer great accommodation options, but only a few not so great available two-three star hotels.

But that is never the case with people traveling to Mumbai whether for leisure or for work or for a stop-over. Primarily as the Mumbai airport is right in the middle of the city, almost equidistant from all parts it becomes a boon to everyone whether a resident or a traveler. And to top it all there are loads of hotels near Mumbai airport that cater to all kinds of travellers.

With the maximum number of travellers coming to Mumbai are Business Travellers, it becomes more and more important for the infrastructure and the hospitality sector to support the needs of such travellers. Business travellers opt for hotels that offer amenities beyond clean rooms and comfortable beds. Today business hotels in Mumbai are interested in attracting more business travellers with many attractive amenities.

Some of the best hotels in central Mumbai offer varied amenities including but not limited to the below mentioned to enable business travellers to pick them over other hotels.

Airport Pick-up and Drop-off
The traffic in Mumbai can get troublesome and no business traveller wants to get into the nuisance of hiring local transport. Additionally with being in a new city, business travellers don’t want to be taken for a ride literally and so airport pickup and drop-off offered by a hotel is ranked as the best amenity offered.

Free High Speed, Wireless Internet Service
A corporate traveler cannot spend even a few hours without Internet, and hence the top amenity that a hotel can offer is Wi-Fi connectivity to stay abreast of all the work irrespective of where in the hotel premises he is. And if Wi-Fi is free of charge, then nothing like it.

Dedicated Business Centre
Business travellers have business needs which are not limited to a printer, scanner, copier and fax. They also need IT staff that can help in-case of any glitches that may arise all day round. A full service business center that can offer conference and meeting facilities, multimedia and audio-visual equipment to facilitate business transactions also score high for business travellers.

Recreational and Entertainment Facilities
Business travellers are usually extremely busy throughout the day and look to unwind at the end of the day. They look to get their doze of physical activity at the gym or the pool, or relax at the spa or de-stress with yoga sessions at the end of the day. Additional they want their fix of entertainment at their fingertips with a HDTV and a bank of movies, series at their disposal. Hotels that offer these definitely cut competition in a big way.

24/7 Housekeeping
Travellers want housekeeping all around the clock. Especially those who have meetings and have to do a bit of entertaining late at nights may have a lot of housekeeping requests at odd hours. Hence 24/7 housekeeping is a sure-shot winner at hotels that cater to business travellers.

From what I know and what I’ve experienced one thing I can say for sure is that business travellers prefer hotels that offer amenities which ensure productivity and focus.

Happy Traveling,

Since the advent of the summers, I experiment so much with my accessories that my huge stash sometimes looks negligible. And as fashion keeps evolving, it is important to pick accessories that are more complimentary than striking. Spring-Summer fashion trends call for floral, dressy and colourful accessories.

But the moment I scanned my two drawers of accessories, I knew it was missing a lot of stuff. Yes, most girls will say the same thing. However, in all the confusion I searched the internet and landed on a gorgeous site called Confusion Fashion Accessories.

Confusion Fashion Accessories Haul and Giveaway

As I browsed page to page I saw the products Confusion FA had to offer and I was amazed. Each piece is unique as compared to what you normally see. The designs are modern and versatile, such that you can easily style them in intriguing manners. The collection is a fantastic mix of dainty and statement pieces that I can style with easily layering together.

Since I love to layer jewellery to create unique looks for everyday styles, today I’m going to give you a run down on some peculiar things I do.

Confusion Fashion Accessories Haul and Giveaway

When layering necklaces ensure to mix different lengths; beginning by the shortest and then building on the length then on. Add mystique with complimentary colours as opposed to a single colour to keep it fresh and stimulating. Be experimental and mix different materials as well to keep the uniqueness.

The easiest way to start layering if you’ve never done it is with rings. Accessories your finger with a mix of small and statement rings in varied positions. Cocktails rings, midi rings, palm harness, stacked rings and much more can adorn your fingers.

Confusion Fashion Accessories Haul and Giveaway

Stacking bracelets is the most prominent form of layering jewellery and by far the easiest. Mix whatever you like chain bracelets, dainty bracelets and chunky bracelets in any way you want and they will still look great.

But if you're headed to Confusion FA forget all about layering as these are amazing stand-out pieces. If you follow me on Instagram, you would know that the generous people at Confusion FA sent me loads of beautiful fashion accessories which I’m going to style this season. Check my haul here.

As I received a mother’s day text message today (no it’s not mother’s day), I wondered what extent do mothers go to, to bring a smile on her child’s face? I cuddle and hug my baby, I cook and feed my baby, I sing and dance with her, and I spoil her crazy. However sometimes it takes some more like making them experience a new adventure.

I know you may laugh saying where in Mumbai am I going to find any adventure except some silly antics in malls, or some filthy garden or at best the National park. But wait dear parents, right in the middle of this busy blistering city is a gorgeous place that fulfills all the needs of a young child. A place that entertains them while teaching them the basics of life. A place they can be doctors, pilots, racing car drivers, firefighters, chefs, radio jockeys, rock-climbers, anything that they aspire to be.

That place is KidZania.

Kidzania, Is It Worthwhile For Young Kids?

Though the website says that it is most apt for kids between the ages of 4-16, I have wanted to visit it for a long time and when Blogadda invited #PrincessHeer and me over I didn't want to think twice. Once we got the formalities done, we were excited o get in as quickly as we could.

As she was briefed, she headed straight to Yes Bank to en-cash her check and holler on to spend her money. As usual she was game to try a lot of things which we soon began to realise had the age restrictions. Being just 3 she was only eligible for toddler activities and I was glad that the staff refused to budge even when requested keeping the child’s security in mind.

She along with her dad, headed straight to the staff and got a printed list of activities for the toddlers and went ahead to explore and execute them. Each was a new experience for her and though I would have thought 3 years is too young to comprehend what was happening she was absorbing in a lot like a dry sponge.

Here are my conclusions from our Day at KidZania…

Kidzania, Is It Worthwhile For Young Kids?

The Fire Station is definitely one of the best activities but does take a while to get done. If you miss it, be sure to line up for it as the 8-slot group gets taken up pretty quickly. No other activity gets as realistic as that. Kids are given fire-fighter coats to wear, are taken for a round in a fire fighters truck and actually get to douse off the fire at a nearby hotel. Though #PrincessHeer refused to wear the costume, she did participate heartily riding the fire truck, putting out the fire and then taking a victory bow to go back into the fire truck.

Kidzania, Is It Worthwhile For Young Kids?

My little Picasso made a wonderful painting (pre-drawn) with a healthy mix of colors at the KZ National Painting School. I was so surprised that she really liked painting and after completing momma, refused to come out until she painted her daddy.

Kidzania, Is It Worthwhile For Young Kids?

Another activity she really enjoyed was the Dancing Room, the most fun area in the park. Heer was the first to go on to the dancing stage whereas other children were coaxed by their parents she began to shake her leg to one of her favorite numbers; Shahrukh’s Indiawale. #PrincessHeer also did wonders at the Supermarket and didn't have any trouble shopping and paying at the counter just like how I do. It was fun to see her inspect each item carefully before picking it and going around one alley at a time just like I do. Didn't know she observed me so much.

Kidzania, Is It Worthwhile For Young Kids?

At the end of the day she had quite a few KidZos left and she said we should go to the bank and deposit them. Smart baachu! So we went to the bank and converted our KidZos into a debit card that we can use during our next visit to KidZania.

So if you’re wondering why my title doesn’t say anything, I believe that KidZania is a place for children 5 years and above as they would have a lot of activities to do where as children 4 years and below have very few things to do. But still it is a great place for the kids to enjoy and parents can gauge their interest by the activities they enjoy there.

So here’s to our #ZuperDayAtKidZania

School Of Style By Lakmé

Lakmé is known as one of the pioneers in the Indian beauty industry scenario and now they are creating a legacy of style and beauty for the new age enthusiasts. As things keep changing in the fashion and beauty industry all around the world, Lakme is striving to bring these trends to the Indian masses via its Lakme School Of Style. India’s first fashion-beauty video magazine #LakmeSchoolOfStyle bring in perspective from the movers and shakers of the industry, but from the view point of normal everyday people.

Bloggers and Vloggers contribute towards the magazine via short refreshing and interesting fashion, make up, beauty and relationships videos. Some of these videos are greatly informative, some downright silly and some super exciting. After watching hordes of the videos on the Youtube Channel, I’m bringing to you two videos as part of the #LakmeSchoolOfStyle in association with #Fame.

The first video is that of Vlogger pair Amanda and Milli. The video is all about how they create a great look for Valentine’s Day, shopping in the flea market of Janpath in Delhi on a shoe string budget of INR 1k. Watch it here...

I’m always drawn towards challenges and the video title ‘Budget Shopping Challenge For Him & Her’ immediately drew me towards it. What I loved about this video is the way the girls are so comfortable shopping around a local market in India and still put together a great look, one for a girl and one for a guy. With each girl trying to remain within the budget but able to pick really good looks is no mean task. Each product they shopped for, whether for a girl or a guy; I can identify with each product and can see myself getting them. Thus the video for me is as real as it can get. So a huge thumbs up from me to the girl, great job done!

The second video that I’m going to insist you watch is the one by Vlogger Sanjana Banaik that outlines 5 Must-Have Bags For A Fashion Girl. Those who read my blog regularly know my love for handbags and thus would agree that this video is the most oblivious choice. Watch it here…

Every girl has her own list of must-haves whether clothes, shoes or handbags and so do I. What I really liked about Sanjana’s video is that out of the 5 bags she has on the list, all girls will have three of them in their list as well. The way she has highlighted the type of bags one must own to the way she has projected hem in the video is simply splendid. She is clear in her communication and the video is shot really well.

Don’t know about you but I’m heading straight to the channel to subscribe.

Happy Watching,
~ Heena
