The fact that Australia is the remotest countries in the world makes it the most intriguing places for travellers to explore. It has over the years grown as a major backpacking, camping and driving destination offering varying experiences that makes it a hit with all travellers. No matter what you love to do, you will find enough things to do in this gigantic country. With the cost to cover the vast diversity is unimaginable, I definitely need to start saving up for my next travel adventure.

Dive In The Great Barrier Reef
One of the most famous reef systems in the world, the Great Barrier Reef is world-renowned for its abundance of marine life and world-class diving opportunities. With a ton of marine life and beautiful coral to explore, diving is a must do the activity; even if you don’t dive you can take a boat to go snorkelling.

Spend A Day At Uluru
Ayer’s Rock popularly known as Uluru is the biggest attraction of the country especially for its spectacular views at sunrise and sunset. Considering it is just a big rock (similar to the ) it is a sight to reckon with, as the wind blowing effects great changes in the shades of the sky from amber to red and orange. Though scaling the rock is allowed as a tourist activity, it is not appreciated as the Uluru is considered to be a sacred area.

Sail The Whitsundays
Nothing can beat a short cruise across some of the most beautiful sand islands in the world. Whitehaven beach is mesmerising with its share of exotic creatures especially the turtles and dolphins. Some of these islands have resorts that make your stay as amazing as a paradise island.

Explore Unbeaten Tasmania
Very few travellers explore the unbeaten track to Tasmania that has amazing hikes, beautiful bays, small townhouses and ferry rides. It’s one destination in the highly visited country that still remains virgin to the world of tourists.

Get On The Surf Board
Whether you are a professional or a beginner, every beach offers you surfing experiences especially on the Gold Coast in Brisbane. It is fun to feel the waves below your feet as you rise in the air and at times crash into the water.

Relax By The Beautiful Beaches
With over 50,000 km of coastline, there are many many beautiful beaches to visit. One will be spoilt for choice with both the East coast and the West coast. For more secluded beaches head to the western coast and enjoy a relaxed day at the beach.

Live In the Lush Jungles
Australia has a continuous stretch the largest tropical rainforests in the world that are perfect to go hiking and camping. While bird and wildlife watching is a major sport in Queensland, there are numerous other options to choose from if you want to get away from the hustle-bustle of the city and relax. Cape Tribulation is one such place that offers a great mix of beach, jungle and birds.

Chill In Melbourne
Melbourne is a must visit place in every cricket lover’s travel diaries, however, the city offers much more than just the ground. There are clubs with exotic music, cafes with traditional approach and restaurants with a variety of cuisines. Walk alongside the river, picnic at the city garden, jam out at rock concerts or go party hopping at the nightspots to enjoy the city inside out.

Take A Wine-Sampling Tour
Apart from many other things Australia is well known for its wineries, especially those at Margaret River near Perth, the Barossa Valley near Adelaide, and the Hunter Valley near Sydney. There is a lot of good wine to be tried while in Australia, especially Shiraz and Pinot Noir. One can take a day tour to a winery or simply take a trip to the wine store and get drunk in the park.

Sample Amazing Cuisines All Over
Forget the restaurants and enjoy an Australian barbecue in the part sipping on some delicious wine. BBQs are an age-old tradition, and most parks and public areas have at least three BBQ pits where locals get together to spend a warm night with gorgeous wine an sharing stories.

Until you actually get to sample these amazing treats that Australia offers, you can catch these moments live with Sanjeev Kapoor who is travelling ‘Out Of The World’ with WonderChef bringing the country closer to you through your TV screens as #WonderChefLive.

So tune into FoodFood every Friday at 9:00 pm and be mesmerised with the adventures SK takes.

Every morning I wake up,
And stare at you for a while.
Amazed at the little wonder,
That stays beside me all night.

As I bend towards you and kiss you in a while,
Your lips turn gently into a gorgeous smile.
The moment remains etched in my mind,
as the morning turns into gold in its kind.

In seconds you draw me closer,
I know in moments I'll be a dozer.
Your smile grows slightly wider,
Just as the thick mattress slides away.

Unknowingly you turn your face,
And dive deep into the pillow lace.
You want to cheat the break of dawn,
Just slowing as the curtains are drawn.

I whisper that its a good morning,
And pull the quilt without a warning.
You look up at me and frown a bit,
But not in a mood to get up and sit.

I climb into the bed for a feather touch,
Running my fingers through your hair much.
You pretend to not notice my waking,
My little princess is astounding breathtaking.

The moment I move away to go,
You look at me to hug me so.
When I wake up every morning,
I'm lost in gold that's so charming.

Never has my morning been dull, since the time my little #PrincessHeer has arrived. She brings in the actual sunshine into my life to help me glow inside out and feel the love from all sides. A little nudge, a little hug, the shy smile, the pillow fights, the early morning stories, the tugging at the quilt and many more little things make my good mornings into great gold mornings.

The other things that make my mornings into #Colgate360GoldMornings are:

No More Snooze
To make my good mornings into a great morning, I have to stop pressing the snooze button on my mobile. I've set an alarm for a certain time as I see a reason to need that much time to complete certain things before I get going, so no more snooze.

Set The Time
I try to keep the time with my mornings every day, at the same hour. Even on weekends, I go by my internal clock and not sleep beyond the time as to maintain my body's rhythm.

Be Kissed By Natural Light
I venture out first thing in the morning and settle down to get a healthy dose of Vitamin D. Fresh air natural light, happy morning visuals all add to my mornings and refresh me within seconds.

Pile On The Protein
Though I learnt the most important lesson a little late in life, now I stand by it. I make my breakfasts the most important meal of the day with a healthy mix to re-energise me with a bowl full of protein.

Get Going
I make the most of my morning, after tranquility and relaxation, I'm all set to conquer the world and I do not sit back wasting time to check my social media platforms or updating them for the world to see. I get going and do things instead.

And you how do you make your mornings #GoldMornings?

Just like every parent has a few shortcuts to deal with their kids, which save them time and patience, I have a few hacks myself. Over the last few years, #PrincessHeer has created havoc in daily routines and me being a work from home professional her antics ensure that I have a long to-do work list every single day. However, with whatever little parenting knowledge I have I try to balance both my worlds cheekily and sometimes get more than what I bargained for. Unfortunately, what I hadn't realised was that unknowingly I was pushing my daughter towards some very unhealthy habits; the habits that were hampering her overall development. Luckily my wake up call came early, when I was faced with the bribes, threats and even uncalled for tantrums to agree to the disagreeable.

Finally after some very crucial situations, loads of tears and screams I realised that there are no shortcuts to parenting. Let's take a reality check, does enrolling your child in a dance class make him a dancing star or does reading a holy book every night ensure a child grows up to be a god fearing teen? Does a child racing car win at home make him a traffic abiding citizen? I'm sure you all are shaking your head in doubt. Cause if there is even an ounce of this possibility, most mothers would have found the perfect recipe for shortcuts in life. However as human nature is so gullible, we tend to run behind the unachievable and I am guilty of the crime.

But one always need to face the truth and the fact is that there are no quick fixes to parenting or for raising perfect children. Giving them expensive things won't compensate for the time we spend with them or ensuring a smooth sail through without hurdles does not promise life successes. Just like we need to experiment with our learning and failures as parents without any #JugaadParenting we must also make sure we say #NoMoreShortcuts to how our children grow up as adults. Like they say, children learn more by visual representation to be a model to your child day-to-day and guide them.

As I promise to make smarter choices with well thought out plans to ensure long-term interest, advantage and satisfaction for my child I prefer long-term benefits with #NoMoreShortCuts and #NoJugaad to Exide Life's insurance policies that swear by their long-term financial security and happiness. With some excellent options in investment plans along with professional guidance, Exide Life should be a long-term plan for everyone so check all the investment policies and plan a long and happy life.

Tomorrow is the stepping stone, an opportunity to begin something that will awaken me to be more mindful, more attentive and more alert about myself. Yes I say tomorrow as all the adrenaline of the New Year Resolutions have died down and after a good 8-10 days, you can be sure what you want to be doing. For me there can not be any more excuses about time, chance or methods will be valid after being introduced to the Yogi Box.

Being one of the five bloggers invited to the launch of the Yogi Box by entrepreneur Prerna Sinha, a friend and co-blogger, has set me off on a journey in pursuit of wellness. The program has been conceptualised and founded by Prerna Sinha, Shilpa D'Souza and Ruchi Kapoor and promises a well thought out fitness and wellness regime. As a fitness enthusiast, I’ve been inspired by Prerna to take those small steps in my journey to a more fit me. At the meet aptly held at the Yoga House in Bandra, I was introduced to a bunch of like-minded women who discussed wellbeing and fitness and how even in today’s hectic schedules traditional Yoga fits in to bring one back to the roots and sets one on the path of calmness and self-realisation.

A very brief yoga session with Ruchi Kapoor, an Ashtanga teacher introduced me to a deep seeded but highly ignored aspect of self-awareness and understanding. A highly charged positive environment was followed by a Satvik lunch which included superfood like quinoa upma, summer salads, green boost juice, pink juice, zucchini tikkis and to conclude lunch 'The Yogi Tea’ was served in earthen pots.

Looking forward to the Yogi Box; its launch was the highlight of the event as we were introduced to the monthly subscription box conceptualised with the single most thought of motivating people to embark on the pursuit of wellness through tradition and natural means. With 5-7 full or sample sized products by brands that are into organic and wellness space, the Yogi Starter Kit pushes people to take their fitness ideologies off their mats and incorporate routines in their daily lives.

The launch box contains a mix of skincare, jewellery and consumable products:
~ The YogiToday bracelets - The chakra bracelets are sourced from the city of Ashtanga yoga, Mysore made of authentic stones and chakra colours.
~ The Yogi Tea - An ayurvedic tea with its spicy character and aromatic flavour is both an inspiring and relaxing experience.
~ The Tattva Rose and Honey Body Wash - This is a natural product that leaves you with the feeling of stepping into a rose garden with a lingering subtle rose fragrance
~ The OmVed Vetiver Bath Scrub - Perfect with the body wash and has an identity of its own with its aroma. You just have to open the pack and smell it to know what we mean.

The Yogi Box currently priced at INR 599 is ideal for gifting and giveaways. However, the founders are also open to customisation as per the sensibilities and budget of clients. So with YogiToday; Care - Curate - Connect!

As I was to leave, a wave of purification swept through me making me feel more holistic than I’ve left in a long time.

The talk of periods, issues associated with those days and products related to them have been never spoken out-loud for the longest time. But not anymore. Whisper India, has raevolutionaried the way women communicate with one another about one of the most natural experiences via its numerous initiatives including TouchThePickleJar and #OwnThose5Days. Whisper encourages women to defy tradition by doing what is taboo during those 5 days, breaking stereotypes and initiating a change.

With new products being launched in the female hygiene category every day, there are ample choices for women and thus selections are dependant upon individual needs and style preferred. Until now I have been using Whisper's Ultra Clean XL Wings because of its long and sleek form that is comfortable and it has a lot of absorbing power which helps as I have a heavy flow. However, sometimes there is an occasional tear in the top cover and a bit of movement when I am very active. Having said that I have been very happy using the product and it has been extremely satisfying to use.

Last month when Whisper kick-started the #OwnThose5Days initiative and launched the all renewed Whisper Ultra Clean I was intrigued by the promises made, especially the 5 times better protection guarantee. At the launch event P&G’s R&D Expert Chetan Kotyalkar emphasised the changes made in the product to ensure a better experience. The newly launched product seemed one-up on the current one I have been using, so I gave it a shot especially since it is from the same brand. The very first thing that I felt was that it offered better comfort not only from a softer top cover but also dryness due to quick absorption via the 1000 plus conical-shaped suction holes. The additional length ensured protection for a longer period with a greater grip ensuring no staining, no movement thus no itchiness and rashes.

The least I can say is that I’m impressed! In the beginning, I was a bit apprehensive about the 5 times protection and an all-night use, but on trying the pad it did give me a comfortable and peaceful night's sleep. The adhesive on the pad is pretty strong and does not detach from where placed and wraps up snugly preventing leakage which is by far the major concern for every girl. However, the experience will be very subjective depending on individual flow and the number of hours one prefers to change the pad within.

Using a pad that protects against two major concerns - leakage and duration and offers two major comforts - dryness and softness, I shall #BeUnstoppable and continue to cycle every day without the forced period break to #OwnThose5Days with Whisper.

What happens when you put together the dynamic trio of Stand-Up Comedian Aditi Mittal, Gynaecologist Nandita Palshetkar and Actress Kalki Koechlin along with P&G’s Research Expert Chetan Kotyalkar… the audience cracks up every minute of the discussion. Even when the discussion is about those 5 days, yes the PMSing ones, the time when your best friend visits, oh yes in simple terms the chum jokes.

In a room full of women bloggers from across the city, the team discussed the myths surrounding the menstruation period; their experiences and how they #OwnThose5Days to be unstoppable. Kalki spoke about how menstruation in India is treated like a disease and how women are discouraged from doing routine activities and are restricted to their rooms during the time. Dr. Palshetkar ran us through the menstruation process and emphasised the importance of maintaining hygiene and health. Aditi was herself cracking jokes all the time embarrassing the man of the hour Chetan Kotyalkar who took the audience through the entire process of developing the product and how each part of the product has bettered to give complete comfort and protection.

Whisper’s last campaign ‘Touch The Pickle Jar’ that is traditionally a taboo during the period encouraged women to defy tradition by actually doing what is restricted breaking gender stereotypes and bring about a change.

During the #OwnThose5Days Blogger Hangout the panel busted more than just one myth. The one that surely will make me more #Unstoppable is saying no to 'no exercising during my period’ routine. It was fun being put through a series of physical exercise routines to reiterate the thought in a more engaging way than just a talk. Team #14 kicked some real punches competing with other 17 teams to emerge the winner of the challenge.

It was really great to see a man talk so passionately about the research that went behind the development of the new Whisper Ultra that offers 5 times more protection from a regal napkin. The new product launched stands apart from the competition with over 1k suction holes on a more softer top cover that ensures more and faster absorption, better dryness and above all odour lock.

So my dear girls, do not let any myth stop you from being yourself. Don’t listen to others tell you what you cannot do!  Stop worrying about the monthly friend; welcome her with more cheer and applause; and with the much better New Whisper Ultra. And most importantly go, #OwnThose5Days with your free sample to get one click here.
